Cynthia Legg

Founder & CEO

As an executive and business coach, Cindy builds on her career as a partner in a regional CPA firm and founder of a consulting firm where she devoted two decades to strategizing with businesses and individuals to help them solve complex problems, optimize profits and achieve their vision. She blends her expert business and financial knowledge and acumen, leadership development, strengths-based approach and a gift for helping individuals to ignite their authentic power within and achieve greatness.

Her extensive expertise encompasses high-level tax planning and compliance, financial and business strategy and executive coaching. She is known for her warm demeanor combined with her expert knowledge and works with executives and business owners across industries and specialties.

As a partner, she held numerous leadership and committee positions and understands the challenges women in leadership can face. She has a unique insight to help her clients reach the next level of success without sacrificing what is important to them.

In 2016, Cindy made a significant shift in what was important to her after experiencing serious health issues that lead her to “retire” from the typical demands of public accounting and as a partner in a CPA firm. Ultimately, this became the driving force behind her passion to empower leaders and organizations to achieve a different version of success – one that includes both achieving and well-being for deepened impact and happiness.

She is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Virginia Business Magazine’s highly respected Super CPA award in estate planning and trusts for 2012 and 2013.

She is a graduate of the prestigious George Mason University (GMU) Coaching Program: Leadership Coaching for Organizational Well-Being. She holds a B.S. in Accounting from Strayer University, graduating summa cum laude and achieved the respected Certified Public Accountant designation in 2000.

She has a passion for giving back to the community and has served on numerous non-profit boards as an officer and executive committee member. She is a charter board member of Be the Change Foundation and serves on the BB&T Bank Advisory Board.

She loves to write and share her tidbits of wisdom and insights. She enjoys gardening and is a voracious reader. But mostly, loves spending time with her family and thrives on her time with her grandchildren – Brooklynn and Christopher, who bring her an abundance of laughter and joy.
